ABOUT US

LaTanya L. Moss

Moss brings a wealth of education and experience as a Facilitative and Transformative Mediator. Mediating issues concerning, but not limited to: civil, workplace and family disputes has afforded her the opprotunity to successfully guide a wide range if individuals through the process.

Moss often quotes:"Out of all your getting, get an understanding.”

Moss’ journey developing and detailing her mediating skills started as an intern/volunteer mediator for The Michigan Department of Civil Rights where she was trained in mediating workplace and discrimination cases for automobile workers and neighborhood disputes.

Moss expanded her career in mediation by accepting the position of Treatment Specialist for Boys and Girls Republic, a Residential Youth Facility for challenged, abused and neglected youth 12-18 years of age.

During her tenure at Boys and Girls Republic Moss served 5 years working one-on-one with families and youth struggling to communicate. Moss taught positive problem solving skills to the youth, using the Positive Peer Culture/Guided Group Intervention Models while incorporating the power of recognition and understanding. Moss later held the responsibility of Residential Liaison communicating directly with families, therapists, educators and faith-based representatives.

Moss continued to flourish in the ADR field and now currently holds the following positions:
